New Zealand security delegation arrives in Pakistan to check T20I series prep


Before New Zealand tour to Pakistan a two member security delegation reached Pakistan.

A two-person security group from Cricket New Zealand has arrived in Pakistan to assess the security situation.

The delegation, which also comprises independent security experts and the New Zealand Players Association, will examine the first phase’s arrangements in Islamabad and Rawalpindi as well as the second phase’s arrangements for the team accommodation and stadium in Lahore.

New Zealand is set to go to Pakistan for five Twenty20 matches in April. According to the suggested schedule the squad is expected to land in Pakistan on April 14.

According to the schedule, the first T20 between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on April 18.
