Job Description Survival Flight is accepting resumes for a full-time Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) Float Pilot position flying a Bell 407/Bell 206 in any of our regions based in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
- Float Pilots will be assigned a regular scheduled hitch and be expected to assist in covering open shifts in assigned region.
- If there are no bases with open shifts during a Float Pilot's regular scheduled hitch, the Float Pilot will be expected to perform duties that include but are not limited to aircraft moves, maintenance flights, administrative requirements, etc.
- Float Pilots who successfully complete a minimum of 6 months of float duties will take priority in a
permanent assignment at a base of their choosing once a position becomes available at that base.

Pilot Incentives: - Starting base salary $85,000 to $92,000, adjusted for experience
- $15,000 float stipend
- $15,000 sign-on bonus to be paid immediately upon completion of new hire training
- $25,000 retention bonus to be paid out during the first 24 months of employment
- 7/7 or 14/14, regular full-time schedule
- Off-duty and away from base pilot housing provided
- Annual aviation medical exam reimbursement
- Mileage pay is provided when using your personal vehicle
- Coverage of airline expenses/rental cars
- Mileage/per-diem/travel pay for work over shifts
- $15,000 pilot referral bonus
Required Experience: - 2000 hours total flight time (preferred)
- 1500 hours of helicopter PIC time
- 500 hours of turbine time
- 100 hours unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- 500 cross-country time
Preferred Experience: - NVG Experience
- HAA Experience
- Bell 206/407 Experience
- ATP Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree
Education/Certifications: - Commercial Helicopter with Instrument Rating
- Current class 1 or 2 medical
- High School Diploma or equivalent
