This pivotal role involves generating and promoting data-driven insights related to sports property performance across diverse platforms. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving audience growth and enhancing fan engagement for the company's sports properties. As the Vice President, you will oversee reporting and analysis tasks by leveraging national and local TV audience data, streaming analytics, and various data sources. Collaboration with the Consumer Insights team and cross-portfolio analytics leads is essential to harmonize performance insights with qualitative research and enrich the understanding of audience dynamics. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating data forecasts, supporting strategic initiatives, and modernizing workflows by assessing new technologies. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 12 years' experience in analytical roles involving large data sets, particularly in Nielsen methodology and streaming analytics tools. A strong passion for sports and an in-depth understanding of the sports industry are crucial for success in this role. Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected, with additional coding languages considered a plus. The perfect candidate will be strategic, possess exceptional analytical and business acumen, and have a robust track record of establishing effective relationships with stakeholders outside of research functions. Experience in advanced statistical modeling and data science techniques is desirable.
