*Schedule:* PT, 16 hours/week
*Shift*: 1st position -- Monday 10AM-6:30PM, every other weekend 7AM-3:30PM, holidays, and call required
*Location: UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook*
*The role you’ll contribute:*
Performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation.

* Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
* Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures.
* Performs routine and complex studies and assists physician in a variety of imaging procedures.
* Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
*The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:*
* Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.
* Previous experience required
* BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
* Registry Eligible Medical Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registry or registry eligible required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $33.78 - $50.68 per hour
