As a Server at Mochi Dolci, you will be the primary point of contact between our guests and the kitchen, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:

    • Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
    • Take and accurately record customer orders, including special dietary requests and modifications.
    • Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure orders are correct.
    • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  2. Order Management:

    • Relay orders to the kitchen and bar efficiently.
    • Ensure all orders are prepared correctly and in a timely manner.
    • Handle special requests or modifications with care and attention to detail.
  3. Table Management:

    • Set up and clean tables before and after service, ensuring a neat and welcoming environment.
    • Monitor tables throughout the meal, refilling drinks and clearing plates as needed.
    • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and process payments.
  4. Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
    • Assist with training new staff members when necessary.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to manage service flow and address any issues that arise.
  5. Health and Safety:

    • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the service station and dining area.
    • Follow all restaurant policies and procedures related to food safety and customer service.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a serving or customer service role preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, and other items up to [specify weight, if needed].
  • Good manual dexterity and stamina to handle busy shifts.
