Your Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring adherence to applicable standards.
• Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor conditions, communicating effectively with the care team.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate and educate patients and families based on their unique needs.
• Advocate for patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Participate in staff meetings and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Tennessee or a Compact State with appropriate Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.

Working Conditions

This role may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, and you will be expected to maintain a professional appearance in compliance with our dress code. Flexibility in scheduling, including overtime and call shifts, is essential.
