Job Description

SWBC is seeking a talented individual to coordinate and complete projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Gather requirements, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor, and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

You will be responsible for defining the project scope, gathering requirements, tracking project progress, budgets, providing presentations and communication to stake holders, identifying, and managing risk, and developing solutions and processes within an Agile environment.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Coordinates teams and third parties for the execution of projects. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Provides support to define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Gathers requirements.
  • Ensures projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. Meets budgetary objectives and adjusts project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Develops comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress. Manages changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Identifies and manages risks and develops mitigations/solutions. Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Develops and/or enhances project related processes and project artifacts.
  • Prepares executive reports and presentations, including all documentation requirements.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field of study.
  • Minimum of three (3) year's project and/or program management experience (including experience defining a new program) or relevant business experience.
  • Proficient identifying and managing critical paths in projects.
  • Proficient in marketing, including promotional, content, brand, digital, social media, email and event.
  • Knowledge of program structuring and work planning (using tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Knowledge of business analytics to establish KPIs that measure performance (using tools such as Tableau).
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Be comfortable working in a matrix environment and foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects (moderate and complex) simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to focus on business value results, rather than solutions.
  • Ability to manage the scope change process and issue identification/resolution with all stakeholders. Influence management level peers and enterprise-wide stakeholders.
  • Ability to liaise between project team and business stakeholders to ensure collaboration and coordination.
  • Ability to monitor and communicate status to senior leadership.
  • Sit for long periods of time performing sedentary activities.
  • Travel state-wide and nationally unlikely but possible.
