As a Product Development Project Manager:

What you will do:

• Ensure the successful execution of multiple, simultaneous new product development projects
• Oversee and participate in discussions to clearly define the project scope which will include cost targets, product features, deadlines, etc.
• Lead multiple cross functional (engineering, supply chain, operations, product management, etc.) teams in methodologically addressing urgent issues & proactively defining task sequences and key milestones to ensure timely decision-making and task completion
• Facilitate and guarantee clear communications between project team members, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure productive outcomes
• Orchestrate all activities required for prototype builds including collection, categorization, and prioritization of feedback to drive efficient design iterations
• Collect and record key information from meetings, emails, and other media and ensure proper documentation practices are followed by project team members
• Effectively mediate between conflicting departments, stakeholders, or project team members to determine an agreeable direction
• Prepare and deliver executive level communication summarizing project progress
• Proactively analyze and provide suggestions for improvements related to project management processes, tools, and resources

Required Qualifications Include:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with experience leading complex projects within a manufacturing environment

• Bachelor’s degree (in Engineering related field is preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong understanding of product development processes, tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proven leadership within a matrix organization
• Ability to inspire innovation and motivate others
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes
• 5 + years of experience in Project Management
• Experience with Smartsheet work management software
