Your Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
• Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate and address the learning needs of patients and their families.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of your patients.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and committees as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Required Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications:
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
  • NRP within 3 months of hire
  • STABLE, Fetal Monitoring within 1 year preferred
• Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Tennessee or a Compact State RN with Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.

Working Conditions

You will work scheduled shifts, including overtime as necessary, and may be required to perform duties of other nursing staff as needed. A neat and professional appearance in compliance with our dress code is essential.
