Job Description

​​​​​​MedServices Personnel Inc., a medical staffing agency, is looking for a responsible and motivated On-Call Scheduling Coordinator to answer calls from the comfort of your own home. This position will require availability 2 weekends per month , (overnight and day) from 7:30am Saturday through Monday morning at 7:30am. Please note! Calls come in at all hours. An Administrator is always assigned as back up for emergencies. Healthcare and/or on-call experience HIGHLY preferred.  We are looking for a highly organized individual that presents as warm, energetic, and assertive over the phone.

This is a work-from-home position! However, t h e successful applicant MUST live in or around the Topeka, Lawrence, or Kansas City geographical areas.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

• 2 weekends per month.  Shift starts at 7:30amSaturday and goes through Monday morning at 7:30am.
• Please note: You are not required to stay awake overnight. You are required to answer the phone and respond as needed, if a call comes in during the night.

Salary: $600/month

Responsibilities:

• Handling calls from employees and clients to ensure all staffing shifts are adequately staffed.
• Managing the employee schedule, adding and editing shifts.
• Proactively calling employees and utilizing creative strategies to fill last minute shifts.

Requirements:

• 2 year degree preferred, but not required
• Must have excellent communication skills (listening and responding); a warm, assertive personality is non-negotiable!
• Attention to details, and good organization skills required
• Previous experience working in scheduling capacity required
• Comfortable with technology, including working knowledge of/experience with email
• One year of clinical experience preferred
