We are seeking a Medical Office Manager to become a part of our team! You will coordinate medical and health services in a outpatient office setting

Responsibilities:

• Oversee medical and health service activities and personnel 
• Plan and coordinate health services
• Work collaboratively with physicians to implement appropriate healthcare programs
• Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
• Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
• Must be able to independently complete referrals, prior authorizations for imaging, procedures and medications for all payors. 
• Prefer some experience with addiction/Substance Dependency
• Manage incoming faxes
• Multitask --manage incoming calls, patient requests, ability to fax docked physician orders, call pharmacies, review medication lists with patients.

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare or other medical fields-- must know procedures for all payors on how to complete referrals, pcp change forms, prior authorizations for BOTH medications and imaging
• Experience in a managerial role
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to multitask independently
• Experience with windows--ability to create PDF files, scan in adobe.
• Must be able to verify insurance
