As our **Medical Coder,** you will review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to accurately assign ICD-10 and CPT codes including facility E/M codes for accurate and timely billing for our patients. To thrive in this role, you must have an active CPC or CCS, RHIT or RHIA coding certificate.

**This is a full-time, onsite position in Waverly, Tennessee**

**Here's what you will experience working as a Medical Coder:**

+ Assign accurate codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers) for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures for new charges, denials, and claim edits while meeting daily quotas with 95% accuracy

+ Audit infusion, injection and hydration charges for ED charts

+ Enter and validate codes, charges and other edits; verify and correct documentation

+ Adhere to Standards of Ethical Coding by AHIMA and AAPC

+ Communicate with other departments to provide coding guidance

**Required Skills:**

+ HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent

+ Active CPC or CCS, RHIT or RHIA

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $14.69 - $21.27 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
