Job Description:
As a qualified Mechanical Contract Coordinator, for our Blairsville, PA Office, must be willing to travel as needed. Positions are available on a seasonal contract basis. Required hours vary based on the specific needs of the projects and salary is based on experience. Ideal candidates would have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with a mechanical and/or electrical background in a utility environment.
Job Duties:
· JSA Verification
· Review Safety Action Plans as It Pertains to Specific Scope
· Ensure Applicable Checklists Are Utilized
· Ensure Compliance to Site Specific Safety Guidelines
· Review Lifting/Rigging Plans
· LOTO – Know and Understand Procedure Per Scope
· Housekeeping – From Beginning to End
· Environmental Compliance Based on Scope
· Understand The Site Drainage System & Labeling
· Review Quality Work Plans; Identify Hold Points
· Communication – See Something……Say Something
· Lead By Example
· Participate In Scope Development If Required
· Review The Work Package
· Confirm All Required Material Are Onsite Prior To Project Start
· Monitor, Coordinate and Provide Overall Surveillance of Activities as Per the Contract Including Budget, Cost and Schedule
· Serve As Liaison Between Our Customer, Other Contractors and External Agencies As required
· Attend Meetings As required
· Resolve issues At the Work level And Escalate as Required
· Participate In Work Scope Changes as Required
· Review And Approve Time Sheets as Necessary
· Complete Daily Logs as Required
· Participate in Pre-operational Testing and Start Up as Needed
· Review The as Built Drawings to Ensure Modifications Are Included
