At Healthpilot, we work to ensure that Medicare shopping and plan enrollment is simplified for all eligible individuals. Healthpilot's world class Customer Support helps answer customer questions about Medicare plans and walks through our shopping site from account creation to Medicare plan viewing. You will be rated on your ability to assist customers, your customer’s experience, and not the number of sales you have had to push. To do well in this role you need to be calm and stable with frustrated customers and provide top-of-the-line service to all who reach out for support.

This is a Seasonal Temp (1099) to Potentially Full-time based on performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides a “world-class” customer service experience
• Leverage existing Medicare knowledge to assist customers
• Always maintaining a positive, professional, and empathetic attitude.
• Responding promptly to customer outreach.
• Communication through various channels (chat, telephone, sms, and email support).
• Primarily inbound communication, with some outbound callback needs
• Open communication within your team during busier times.
• Assist customers with troubleshooting while remaining patient and providing high level customer service
• Sit at a desk for a cumulative 8-hour shift; Two hours between breaks and lunch.

Qualifications for the job:

• HEALTH INSURANCE LICENSE - State issued licensed is REQUIRED
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience with Windows, MS Office, etc.
• 1 year experience working with MEDICARE.
• 5 years' experience working in customer service role.
• Navigate multiple screens for efficiency and effectiveness.
