Job Description
Duties and Essential Job Functions •Understanding of laser etch requirements per print and/or customer specification. These include but are not limited to part number, lot number, UDI, logo,dimensioned lines, etc.
•Follow verbal and/or written instructions such as part drawings, traveler, work instructions, process specifications, and direction from the supervisor in completinga variety of quality and inspection tasks.
•Set-up and program laser equipment according to specifications and precise measurements. Programming includes saving, retrieving, and editing laser programs.
•Prioritize work orders to get the project accurately finished in a productive, and timely manner.
•Complete laser mark verification form per order, first piece verifications.
•Maintain process setup sheets and tooling/fixture sheets to complement laser programs.
•Assist in implementing improvements in laser, quality, general processing techniques, and tooling changes to improve part quality, schedule performance and toreduce manufacturing costs.
•Assist in analyzing problems and applies problem-solving skills to resolve technical problems.
•Perform Copper Sulfate Test when applicable.
•Utilize micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other measuring instruments to perform measurements when making set-ups and to ensure that parts meetspecifications.
•Performs routine and periodic maintenance of the Laser Etch equipment to keep it in the best possible condition.
•Works as an effective team member with a diverse group of people.
•Work overtime as needed.
•Assist in Quality Department as needed.

- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- PC Literacy, Windows, Microsoft Office Software along with ARCH Medical Solutions - Warsaw software programs, i.e., E2 and Inspection Expert
Physical Demands - Ability to maneuver throughout the facility/facilities as needed
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures including wearing proper PPE
- Ability to function in a position which is primarily repetitive daily administrative functions
- Visual inspection with the use of a microscope on small parts with attention to detail
- Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively
