Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Strip District / Lawrenceville

• Start Date: October/November
• Hours: Monday - Friday, hours between 9 am to 5 pm; Guaranteed 35-40 hours/week; finalized schedule will be known prior to start date
• Hourly Rate: $27-35
• Children: 4-month-old twins
• Pets: One Cat
• Paid Vacation: One week family’s choice, one week nanny’s choice, 3 sick/personal days, all major holidays
• Up-To-Date Vaccinations (including Tdap, DTaP, RSV, MMR, and seasonal flu/COVID) required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Are you an organized, loving, and proactive nanny with experience supporting multiple infants at once? You’ll make us do a serious “double take” if you also have a background caring for premature babies. Because… you guessed it… TWINS!! These future riders of a bicycle built for two couldn’t wait to join Mom and Dad, so they arrived early, but everyone is happy and healthy. You’ll work Monday to Friday with hours between 9 am to 5 pm in a role that’s expected to last at least until the end of next summer. You’ll mainly have the run of the place as Dad works downtown while Mom’s office is in a coworking space within the apartment complex. Following your punctual arrival, you’ll hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide the twins back to sleep. As the newborn expert that you are, when the boys are awake, you have an abundance of development-enhancing activities up your sleeve to help them reach their milestones. These first-time parents advocate for a TV-free home, so you’ll use books and songs to introduce the dashing duo to animals, shapes, colors, and textures. While the twins are catching some shuteye, you’ll unburden Mom and Dad of the children’s laundry, wash bottles and dishes, ensure diaper supplies are stocked, vacuum, and sweep. There are no allergies or forbidden foods, and it would be so appreciated if you occasionally welcomed these parents home with a simple dinner in the oven. There’s a low-maintenance cat that won’t require much beyond the odd belly scratch. You won’t have to drive anywhere or know how to swim but please be current on all your vaccines and safety certifications. Both these parents are expected at jobs involving client appointments and count on you to be punctual and reliable. You’ll also have the option for additional hours to cover date nights. Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
