Our client is seeking a Hotel Director of Finance

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations of our hotel(s). The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in hotel financial management, ensuring profitability and financial health. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive long-term growth and provide executive leadership with valuable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations for the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and hotel industry accounting standards.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
• Develop and maintain financial strategies, cash flow management, and investment planning.
• Supervise and lead the finance team, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with department heads to set budgets and manage expenditures.
• Conduct internal audits and work with external auditors as needed.
• Ensure accurate preparation and presentation of financial statements.
• Monitor and manage risk, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and financial performance metrics.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
