Job Summary and Qualifications

At HCA, our OR Registered Nurses circulate cases as it relates to the OR scope of care. In addition to exercising sound judgement and decision-making skills on behalf of patient, self, and peers, you will also develop these skills on a daily basis by providing quality care to each patient based on individual needs. We are an amazing, hardworking team who is looking for a phenomenal addition like you!

• You will communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers as well as document required information according to hospital policy
• Our nursing staff is expected to present themselves in a professional manner
• As an OR RN, understanding principles of aseptic technique and requirements for scrubbing cases as it relates to unit scope of care is a key responsibility
• You must function in an organized and time conscious manner
• You will demonstrate competency in providing patient/family education

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience as an OR nurse
