Job Description

Executive Assistant – Private Equity

A global, prestigious private equity firm is hiring for an Executive Assistant to support a Managing Director + 2 VPs on their Investment Team.

Salary commensurate with experience: $120-130k base + paid overtime + discretionary bonus + fully paid benefits, free lunch, 401k match, strong PTO package and top of the line parental leave

Hours: 8:30-5:30pm with flexibility as needed

Location: Midtown East

Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote

Seeking:

  • Must have 1:1 EA support experience
  • 8-10+ solid years of experience - must have finance industry experience
  • Looking for longevity
  • Degree required
  • Extremely professional
  • The team operations at an extremely fast-pace – someone who likes this type of environment and has been in it before and can speak to a proven track record working at a fast-pace
  • Must be able to prioritize – understand what is truly urgent/putting out any fires and what can be pushed out
  • Think ahead, plan for problems before they even exist

Responsibilities:

  • Heavy calendar management (3 Outlook calendars)
  • The MD has extremely heavy travel needs – he is always on the road and traveling globally
  • Expense reports in concur
  • Some personal assistant support for the MD as needed (20% of the role)
