Electrical Technician

12+ Months

Louisiana

5-10 years experience

• Evaluate basic equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs
• Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety, and environmental inspections and maintain effective customer relations
• Follow appropriate policies, procedures, protocol and complete necessary documentation
• Maintain daily communications with customers as directed, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction
• Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule. Ensure proper care of spares, tools and test equipment and ensure calibration
• Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use/handling of equipment through formal training
• Meet all other applicable regulatory requirements
• Minimum High School Diploma/GED require
• Minimum of one-year experience or other equivalent formal training in maintaining electronics or electromechanical equipment
• Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations
• Trade certificate required or other equivalent training

Pipeline Technician

12+ Months

Louisiana

5-10 years experience

• Locate pipelines, oversee any excavation work, check facility stations, and maintain and relevant equipment to good working condition.
• Gather samples and process results, gauge tanks, prove meters, witness sampling, and monitor inbound and/or outbound pipeline shipments.
• Provide effective assistance in emergency response including containment, repair, and cleanup as well as emergency preventative actions relating to abnormal right-of-way conditions to avert any possible incident.
• Conduct line crossings, including receiving one call, reading maps, locating, contacting utilities, and landowners, as well as probing and staking the line.
• Understand and comply with all safety requirements relative to the performance of pipeline maintenance duties.
• Perform any additional tasks as requested by Pipeline Supervisor.
