Job Description

We are seeking retired teachers who have a passion for Early Childhood Education to join our team as part-time Early Childhood Education Specialists. This position is perfect for retired educators who wish to stay connected to the world of education and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Support: Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to new teachers and staff, sharing your wealth of knowledge and best practices.
  • Classroom Support: Assist in the classroom as needed, providing support to lead teachers and engaging with children to enhance their learning experiences.
  • Parent Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents, offering insights and advice on early childhood development and learning strategies.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest trends and research in Early Childhood Education.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience, with a focus on Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications in Early Childhood Education are a plus.
  • Passion: A genuine love for working with young children and a desire to contribute to their growth and development.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and staff.
