Drafter/Detailer - Structural Steel

Overview:
We are seeking an individual with structural steel detailing experience to check drawings extracted from 3D models using Tekla. The ideal candidate will understand client standards and interpret architectural and structural design drawings for various projects. A majority of projects would consist of commercial and industrial structural steel.

Key Responsibilities:

* Check E-sheets and shop details for accuracy using Tekla.
* Understand and apply client standards and specifications.
* Interpret architectural and structural design drawings for projects.
* Review drawing submittals from detailers, providing feedback and corrections before customer submission.
* Collaborate with internal staff and management to ensure customer support.

Requirements:

* At least 3 years of experience using Tekla for checking drawings.
* Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to a team environment.
* Ability to learn document flow and follow detailed instructions.
* Strong interpretive skills for design drawings and specifications.
