Voted Glassdoor's Employee Choice Awards - Best Places to Work, This is R/A ! Job Summary Join Restaurant Associates as a Cafe Manager supporting the successful operation of a corporate cafe. In this role, you will ensure daily operational excellence in the cafe, provide outstanding guest service and supporting retail and marketing initiatives to drive our dining program. Marketing experience, PowerPoint and Excel proficiency and outstanding client relationship building skills are required in this role. This position offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule (generally 6:30am to 3pm) and many great benefits! Key Responsibilities: Manages a team of hourly associates working to provide an outstanding dining experience for our customers and guests Works on the floor during our prime meal hours interacting with guests, problem solving and relationship building Participates in and leads employee meetings, reviews and development Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards Supports marketing initiatives to drive program usage Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions in the cafe Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Upscale food service experience, including some management experience Supervising, scheduling, training, management & coaching skills Operational knowledge of the cash handling procedures and operation of food service equipment Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus Apply to Restaurant Associates today!
