Chip’s is seeking a dynamic and experienced full-time Cafe & Bar Manager to join our team to ensure the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.Job OverviewThe Cafe & Bar Manager must first have a passion for both people and food. The overarching goal is to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest and to drive profitability in this area of the club. The Cafe & Bar Manager oversees the daily operations of the coffee shop (6am - 4pm) and the restaurant/bar (4pm - 10pm). This role demands a proactive leader who can manage staff, maintain high levels of organization, manage inventory and ordering, experiment with new food & drink recipes, develop and update menus, and ultimately ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is skilled in both coffee shop and restaurant/bar management with a passion for creating community around great food and drink. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management: Ensure smooth operations during coffee shop hours (6am - 4pm) and restaurant/bar hours (4pm - 10pm).Staff Training & Development: Ongoing training of food service staff and creation of processes for efficient food and beverage service.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management and ordering of all food and beverages (alcoholic and N/A).Vendor Relations: Maintain good communication and relationships with food and drink vendors.Menu Development: Ideate, experiment, and develop menus.
