Job Opportunity: Business Development Manager Hitech/Edutech

Location: Remote
We are working with an established player in digital transformation and technology solutions to find a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team and spearhead the growth of their Product Digital Business Services (DBS) division.

Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager (Hunter) for our Hitech/Edutech solutions, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and driving revenue. You will be responsible for selling software solutions and services, from lead generation to closing deals, while working closely with key decision-makers such as CIOs, Chief Digital Officers, and Functional Heads. Your deep understanding of the local market and existing network will be crucial in your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales for our DBS/PDES business, managing the entire sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with prospects and customers to secure repeat business.
• Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets and deliver revenue as per assigned quotas.
• Maintain accurate and timely contact and opportunity information.
• Prospect for new accounts and extend business within existing accounts.
• Represent the company at industry meetings and trade shows.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy and multipoint lead generation.
• Leverage networks and alliances to uncover additional sales opportunities.
• Set customer expectations aligned with our service offerings and delivery potential.

Key Results Areas (KRA):

• Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.
• Accurately forecast business deals.
• Support other Business Development Managers to achieve DBS targets.
• Deliver new business across all service offerings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development with a focus on software solutions and services.
• Strong track record of generating leads, managing sales cycles, and closing deals.
• Established network within the local market.
• Ability to map and interact effectively with senior decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
