The client is seeking a Business Analyst to join our HR Technology and Analytics team . This role will support our Principal Business Analyst in managing and optimizing our HRIS systems , specifically focusing on time and pay-related projects . The successful candidate will work closely with our Centers of Excellence (COEs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and technology teams to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Principal Business Analyst to support time and pay projects.
  • Gather, validate, and document business requirements from COEs and SMEs.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for the UKG and Workday payroll systems.
  • Create and maintain process flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio to represent current and future states.
  • Work with technology teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutions and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare documentation and reports to communicate recommended technology fixes and project plans.
  • Support the intake and prioritization of technology tickets, focusing on high-priority issues.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) to analyze data, create reports, and present findings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree

  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within HRIS or payroll systems.
  • Experience with HR and payroll systems such as UKG, Workday, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with the employee lifecycle, HR processes, and union payroll complexities is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced), Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with COEs, SMEs, and technology teams.
  • Solid understanding of process flows and project management within a technology environment.
