Overview of the Bookkeeper role:

• Accounts Payable duties include: entering and coding vouchers into the General Ledger, matching vouchers to receiving slips, and mailing checks to vendors
• Accounts Receivable duties include: entering invoices and payment stubs, preparing invoice summaries and payment receipts, and matching invoices to payment stubs
• Prepare and distribute month-to-date sales reports
• Assist with financial statement preparation and closing processes
• Perform collections on overdue accounts and investigations into freight bills as needed

Preferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:

• Minimum two years of accounting experience; degree not required!
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; experience with an ERP system
• Strong attention to detail, very accurate data entry skills
• Highly effective communication and customer service skills
