Vista Nissan is seeking a results-driven and experienced General Sales Manager to lead and grow their team in Casper, Wyoming.

About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and strategic leader to join our team as a General Sales Manager (GSM) . In this high-impact role, you'll lead all aspects of the sales department—including team performance, training, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with the General Manager and Finance team to consistently meet new, used, and F&I goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Create a high-performance, team-first culture that emphasizes growth and accountability
  • Recruit, train, and develop top sales talent, setting clear performance targets
  • Oversee inventory strategy across new and used departments
  • Drive results through data, forecasting, and clear KPIs
  • Build strong relationships with manufacturers and uphold brand standards
  • Ensure compliance, protect business assets, and maintain confidentiality

Key Performance Areas:

  • Manufacturer Relations: Build positive, productive partnerships
  • Asset Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and competitive facility
  • People Management: Foster a motivated and stable sales team
  • Financial Performance: Hit volume, gross, and F&I targets
  • Customer Satisfaction: Build loyalty and a strong community reputation

Essential Requirements:

  • 3+ years of automotive management experience
  • Proficiency with Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, vAuto, VinSolutions, etc.
  • Proven leadership in customer service and employee engagement
  • A track record of building positive, high-performing work cultures
  • Valid driver's license, clean MVR, and ability to pass background/drug screening
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
