Position Summary This tenure-track assistant professor will teach a five-course load (15 credits) in business and marketing courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The faculty member will demonstrate expertise in marketing, with the ability to deliver high-quality and innovative courses in both traditional classroom and online environments. This position also entails engaging in scholarship and creative activities, contributing to academic discourse through impactful journal articles and intellectual contributions, and staying abreast of industry trends. Additionally, the faculty member will play a vital role in advising students, demonstrating a commitment to their academic and professional development. Active involvement in both outreach and extension activities to foster connections with professional organizations and the business community is expected, as well as service and leadership contributions to the department, college, and university. Qualifications
Minimum Education/Degree Required Listed degree qualification is required at time of hire.
Required Qualifications - Terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in marketing or related field from an AACSB (or international equivalent) accredited institution.
- Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in business.
- An active scholarship agenda for peer-reviewed journal publications.
Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate or graduate marketing courses.
- Ability to deliver one or more marketing electives in sales or digital marketing.
- Experience teaching online courses.
- Published scholarly articles in quality journals and a commitment to ongoing intellectual contributions.
- Business industry experience.
