Do you have Athletics office experience and top-notch administrative ability? We want to hear from you! We’re hiring an Assistant Athletics Director in Montgomery County to support the daily operations of a busy educational institution’s athletics department. This role involves data entry/maintenance, scheduling, communications, vendor coordination, onboarding, invoicing, and more. If you're a proactive multitasker with an outgoing attitude and strong admin skills, we’d love to hear from you!

• Collect and maintain accurate rosters for all school teams.
• Maintain student-athlete information.
• Upload rosters and parent information.
• Confirm all game schedules with opposing teams and update changes in system.
• Maintain and update website information in regard to Athletics.
• Coordinate and communicate contest locations for home games.
• Send weekly emails with transportation schedules.
• Triage issues, concerns, questions and inquiries from students, parents, coaches, etc.
• Coordinate all department special events, including Awards Events, Hall of Fame, Athletic Open Houses, and GA/PC Day.
• Order coaching apparel at the beginning of each season.
• Establish team spirit stores with equipment vendor.
• Assist Director with scheduling and coordinating meetings, developing and sharing meeting agendas, taking and sharing meeting minutes as needed.
• Track purchases and purchase orders, including reconciling bills and invoices

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years as an Administrative Assistant or Office Manager.
• Possess extensive knowledge of and demonstrated ability with personal computers and associated office software programs in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• MUST have proven experience in an Athletics department.
