Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and vendor statements in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports to track the company's expenditures.
3. Collaborate with different departments to ensure all invoices are approved and paid on time.
4. Resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues with vendors.
5. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
6. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
7. Participate in the development of new processes and improvements to the accounts payable system.
8. Provide support during internal and external audits.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
4. Experience with accounting software, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
5. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
6. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
11. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
