We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The role is based in Mountain View, California and will be conducted remotely. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be instrumental in supporting our accounting functions, including processing expenses, managing credit card statements, and maintaining precise records.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently reconcile monthly credit card statements to ensure accurate financial records.
• Coding expenses to the appropriate employee file to maintain organized financial records.
• Conduct monthly expense report reconciliations to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
• Utilize your accounting knowledge to code various expenses accurately.
• Apply your Microsoft Excel skills to efficiently manage and process large amounts of data.
• Communicate effectively through various channels including phone, email, and chat to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Ensure the proper setup and functioning of IT equipment for remote work.• Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk, with a minimum of one year in a similar role.
• Proficiency in expense reports preparation and handling.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrable experience in expense reconciliation.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
